Intro
Detailed and systematic instruction about Yog/Pranayam is given by Swami Ramdevji Maharaj through a rolling programme of 6-day ‘shivirs’ (Sanskrit for ‘camps’) conducted all over India, and since 2006, also overseas. The daily sessions are 2.5 to 3 hours long during which participants receive practical instruction on Pranayam ( a series of breathing exercises), Asans (physical exercises), Shuksham Vyayam (gentle stretching exercises) together with basic information about Ayurved, the ancient Indian system of natural medicine.
